Cranes in Buildings
BLUA’s PEB structures are designed to accommodate multiple types of cranes, including EOT, Monorail, and Under-hung cranes, as well as other load-carrying systems such as conveyors. These can be incorporated into both clear-span and multi-span buildings, depending on the project’s operational needs.
When integrating crane systems, BLUA provides crane brackets and runway beams that support the entire crane mechanism. To ensure accuracy and safety, complete information regarding the crane system is required during the design and estimation phase.

Mezzanines in Buildings
BLUA’s PEB structures can be customized with intermediate mezzanine floors — either partial or full — depending on the building’s purpose and load requirements. These mezzanines are ideal for office spaces, storage areas, or operational platforms, allowing optimal use of vertical space.
Mezzanine floors consist of Chequered Plates or Galvanized Decking Sheets, supported by joists and main mezzanine beams. The main beams typically span the building’s width and are positioned beneath the main rafters, while the joists run parallel to the length of the structure.
A reinforced concrete slab (not supplied by BLUA) is cast over the decking sheet for additional strength and stability. BLUA also offers design consultation for the most economical and structurally sound mezzanine layout.
